I’m 23 years old and currently undertaking my Part 2 studies at The University of Liverpool and completed my Part 1 studies at the University of Nottingham (Hons) RIBA/ARB, receiving a distinction for my final thesis project. My most notable technical skills comes through my drawing technique and model making skills, with my work being exhibited in the Architectural Drawing Competition 2011 in Glasgow run by Professor Alan Dunlop and in the Architects Journal through the Sketch A Facade competition.
 
I’ve previously worked for a recently established firm called Mailen Design for my Part 1 placement where I gained strong proficiency in Revit and Autocad, and developed my knowledge of Vectorworks & Microstation in my own time. My experience developed immensely with the position giving me the responsibility of going to site meetings with both structural engineers and clients, drawing up plans which were presented to clients and planning consultants and was given the responsibility of designing luxury villa’s for a speculative project in Monaco. During my part 1 placement I also gained experience working for Ryder Architecture who allowed me to participate in the development of a primary school scheme in collaboration with Balfour Beatty, and I have also gained experience working for a medium sized practice called Amalgam working on internal fit-outs.
